Citrine #3

Citrine #3 was a fun page for me. I wanted to capture the crazy fun in the pictures with lots of color. All the bright colors also capture my daughters personality. So all together it was a great combination.
My second layout for our Ontario trip, also part of the Citrine series over at Scrapbook Steals. I made some changes with this sketch, Citrine #2 by adding more pictures. Riding on the double decker bus was a big highligth of the trip so I wanted to have everyones expessions on the LO.

The Paper Girls Challenge Blog # 35

Here is my layout for The Paper Girls Challenge Blog: Challenge #35 - Journaling Cards. I'm not a big journaler when it comes to my layouts. Only because I'm not always certain about what to write. But i too have a lot of tags at home that I should learn to use more, so this was a great challenge. I decided to make this layout with a photo from my girls tenth birthday! They will be 11 this week; Oh my how time has flown by!!!

Hey Girls! Heres another entry to The Paper Girls Challenge Blog! This weeks challenge is "The Beach". Inspired by the hot weather last weekend, I decided to add some netting from our beach bag. I absolutly love the colour scheme for this card! The colours and patterns from Webster's Pages- Palm Beach Line get me so excited for Beach weather this summer! As well, I added some Jute Twine and a blue button that matches the blue netting. Enjoy all your Beach Days soon to come! Happy Crafting!

The Paper Girls Challenge #31- Doodle Time

This is an entry is for The Paper Girls Challange Blog. The challenge was to "doodle" on a layout with pens and pencils, but I decided to doodle with paint. For this layout I tried to used different techniques as well. Instead of using colored flowers, I inked the flowers with some of my favourite inks from Stamping-Up to give them a softer look. I also used six colours of twine to tie in with the rainbow theme. It was so much fun to do this layout! Happy Crafting!
